Reduce your obligations and eliminate the less important stuff. Choose actions that are more comfortable and reasonable.
Your emotions give you important guidance in making wise choices. They help you know how you are focusing your thoughts. Be aware of your inner critic. In the process you cure yourself of the disease of over thinking life. You listen to your inner wisdom. You no longer allow your intellect to dominate your life.
When your mind becomes clear and focused, your emotions feel solid. You grow more self-aware through activities such as yoga, journal writing and gardening. Expressing appreciation often is another powerful way to pay attention to each moment. You grow to appreciate small things that otherwise go unnoticed. By mindful living you connect with your true Self. You discover your heart’s desires. You approach life from a serene, balanced center.
Remember that you are more than your physical self.

By spending quiet time alone, you discover your true Self. Explore meditation as a life practice. It restores the body, calms the mind and empowers the spirit. You may prefer walks alone in nature or walking meditations. They put you in touch with the rhythms of the Earth. You feel connected to something larger than yourself. You come back in touch with who-you-really-are.
Taking time to nurture the inner You is not being lazy. It allows you to step out of an action-oriented world into a quiet space. You connect with your true Self and align with your real power. You gain clarity of intention and purpose. You return to the world refreshed and ready to share your gifts.
