I love this story. I had heard bits and pieces of it before but I had never heard the whole story. But the part that hits me the hardest is the fact that he wouldn't get a day job and get comfortable and give up on his real dreams. Thanks Tony, I love you and your work so much!
Thanks for the lesson. Intense, passionate and unforgivably maddening… And I love this line. “The greatest revenge is massive success” – Rocky a.k.a. Sylvester Stallone.
Being an on and offline businessman and referral marketer I really appreciate seeing and hearing of successful people who don't give up on their true beliefs and life's goals.
Thank you Tony
Being a referral marketer, I appreciate seeing and hearing of successful people who have had to rely on their true beliefs about their aims.
Thanks Tony
I'm just after watching this video after coming home from my one job and it has motivated me to get something done about my other job. God I love Tony Robbins. He is an A1 storyteller.
Just watched video of Rocky's story. Back in 1965 I won the Golden Gloves championship fight in St. Louis. Shortly after in March of 66 I joined the Marine Corp and aboard ship going to Gitmo I had a boxing match in 1967. I weighed 125lbs. My Second Lt. asked if I would be interested in fighting I said yes. He was concerned about my weight. He did not know if he could get anyone my size. I told him I was not worried about weight. In the fight all my fellow Marines and the Navy guy's were screaming murder--murder. This guy looked like a weight lifter and weighed at least 160-165 lbs. After the first round they were screaming Immekos-Immekos. What is that you say; Ofcourse I won the fight. I am the Champ. True story.
A great inspiration to share with my clients! Thanks Tony for telling the story and thanks SelfGrowh for sharing it with us. And finally, thanks, Sly, for never giving up!
I love the quote "the greatest revenge is massive success !"
To anybody out there that's been down and out get back up and fight on, you just never know when it's your turn. Oliver Kent (UK)
