Are You Living Your Mission?

Life today seems to be going faster and faster. There seems to be less time to get all those things done each day. We seem to be spending so much time trying to accomplish things that we don’t have any time to really look at our lives and see whether or not they are working for us.

We are being lead by the media, government, religion, etc. to work for material satisfaction. Do material things ever really bring us joy? Should we have to “have” the perfect car, home, job, spouse, kids, friends, etc. before we can be truly happy? Well, the answer is no! To be truly happy all you have to do is shift your focus from all those “things” to what it is your heart truly desires.

Do you know what your heart truly desires? Most of us don’t really have a clue. We have been conditioned and programmed all our lives on what’s important. The only problem is that the conditioning was for what’s important to other people. We’ve been taught that having wealth will make us happy. We’ve been taught that having the latest and greatest “things” will make us happy. We’ve been taught that having the perfect body will make us happy. We’ve been taught to look outside of ourselves to find happiness. This teaching is one of the reasons that there are so many unhappy people in this world. We look at our lives and see what we don’t have and we work hard to get those things that we don’t have and then find that something new has come along that we don’t have and it just never ends!

The key to being truly happy is connecting with The Source (feel free to use whatever name you prefer, i.e., the FATHER, God, Allah, Lord, etc.). By connecting with The Source we open ourselves to knowing all. We open ourselves to finding the answers to any questions that we might have. We can ask “What is my mission?” or “Who should I date/marry?” or any other question we have and we will get the answer.

Despite what you may have been taught, you can connect directly with The Source. You don’t need a middle man like a Pastor, Priest, Minister, Guru, etc. The Source is available to all of us. The Source is a part of each of us. We are each equal in the eyes of The Source. We are each worthy and deserving in the mind of The Source. We are each Loved in the heart of The Source.

Here are the simple instructions for connecting based on information from Peter Farley (4truthseekers.org):

CONNECTING INSTRUCTIONS

The following simple technique is a way for you to learn how to successfully connect to your Higher Self or Guidance, correctly, the first time and every time that fear does not get in the way:

It is called the "Dear One technique".

First, I would suggest going to a quiet area where you can sit comfortably in a relaxed state, somewhere where you won't be bothered. Begin by repeating this statement 3 times, “I am now connecting and receiving what is for my highest good from the highest possible source." Allow yourself to be in the moment, put aside all thoughts about the past or future. Being present in the here and now insures that you are grounded.

Then, either on paper or set up on the computer in a Microsoft Word program or something, write "Dear One,". Whomever your guidance comes from is referring to you as the "Dear One". From there, begin writing whatever message comes through you however you receive it. Do not stop and judge the message, and do not try to edit or spell correctly or anything. This is the other half of the mind (the analytical side) trying to be in control. All that can be done when you are finished. Keep writing whatever you are getting and do not stop until your Guidance signs off.

You may need to start out with something like, "The most important thing for me to know right now is.", to get you started. Your mind may try to get in the way or you may get flustered. Do not think about things. Do not question. Do not wonder if you are doing it right. The best motto for this is 'Just do it'. If something happens to stop you, just start over again by writing "Dear One," and then continue. When you are finished, you may receive a closing such as "With Great Love" and then receive the name of the Being or Beings you are connecting to. If you do this once or twice daily, it should become more comfortable to do within a very short time.

Always COMMAND that only those who are for your highest good and those who serve the Highest be allowed to connect through you. Some may connect to their Higher Self, that part of them connected to every other Soul and to the Creator Itself. Some have more specific missions to receive messages for or from the planet, for specific groups of beings on the planet, or for the Lightworkers as a whole.

To strengthen your own inate talents of doing this, ask your Guidance for an answer whenever you have a decision to make anytime or all of the time throughout the day. Should I wear blue or green today? Should I go this way or that way to work? Should I go to McDonalds or Wendy's for lunch? Should I have the meat or vegetables?

If you can even get just a yes or no answer to such questions, with time, you will be able to deal with any situation that confronts you by simply asking Guidance. Constant practice builds the ability to hear, see, feel, and to trust.

Guidance will rarely ever ask you to do something which is not a part of your spiritual makeup. You always have the right and should eventually learn to challenge whatever you are getting by asking/commanding THREE times "In the name of the Highest, is what I am getting correct?

Yes, there are other entities out there that like to play games, that is why you always state, "I am now connecting and receiving what is for my highest good from the highest possible source." As long as your intent is pure, nothing should ever be able to bother you.
