Life is really a game you know. Its not supposed to always be easy, or we wouldn’t learn anything. I’ve been playing the game the best I know how. I’ll bet you have too. Like any game there are rules. So what are the rules? Are they universal principles we’re all supposed to know by now? Things like “you get back what you put out, or as you sow so shall you reap?” Probably so, but sometimes its not that easy. You know that and I know that. I guess part of the secret of being a mentally healthy adult is accepting responsibility. Yeah 100% responsibility of everything!

I’m going through another change in my life now. It’s kind of significant, because it involves a new job. The good thing is, it is a job in a field I am already very familiar with the jewelry business. I came across a great quote from Philippians 4:19 which says, “God shall supply all your needs according to His riches.” That quote has really stuck with me and I have seen it true. I guess not until now have I been really able to recognize it.

I’ve gotten better with age. I hope we all get better with age. It’s natural to want to improve. Maybe its all our experiences that make us better people. Maybe we have to go through the good and the bad moments in life. The good thing is the past is the past and the future is always there to grasp. Maybe there are really no “good or bad” moments, only experiences.

Of course a lot of happiness in life comes from choosing the right occupation. What is it that the spirit draws me to? What does the spirit draw you to? What do you feel is the right work for you? Joseph Campbell tells us that there is something inside us that knows when you’re in the center and he coined the term ”Follow your bliss.”

Would this mean we are to look inside ourselves for answers to the right livelihood? Yes, I believe this does mean this. I also think we attract to us our circumstances either consciously or unconsciously. In my case I have found myself back into the jewelry business. What do you know, “God shall supply all your needs according to His riches.”

May the blessings be… Peace, Joy, Health, and Prosperity to All!
