Many problems that appear on the skin are limited to the skin. Sometimes, however, the skin reveals a disorder that affects the entire body. Consequently, doctors often must consider many possible diseases when evaluating skin problems. They may need to order blood tests or other laboratory tests to look for an internal disease in people who come to them with a skin problem. The presence of blackheads, small cysts and scars is called acne. It is unsightly spots on neck, face, cheeks, forehead, back, shoulder and chest.

Diseases

A skin condition that can make your skin red, very itchy, and dry is commonly known as atopic dermatitis. Different allergen like food and stress can cause this kind of dermatitis to happen. It could also be a hereditary condition passed down from the parents.

Skin rashes: Whether it is used by patients or doctors, the word "rash" does not have an exact meaning or refer to a specific disease or kind of disorder. It's a general term that means an outbreak of bumps on the body that changes the way the skin looks and feels. Rashes can be localized to one area or else be widespread.

Acne Vulgaris (commonly called Acne) is a skin disease; caused by changes in the pilosebaceous units (skin structures consisting of a hair follicle and its associated sebaceous gland.

Boil or furuncle is a skin disease caused by the inflammation of hair follicles, thus resulting in the localized accumulation of pus and dead tissue. Individual boils can cluster together and form an interconnected network of boils called carbuncles. In severe cases, boils may develop to form abscesses.

The term eczema is broadly applied to a range of persistent skin conditions. These include dryness and recurring skin rashes which are characterized by one or more of these symptoms redness, skin edema itches and dryness, crusting, flaking, blistering, cracking, oozing, or bleeding.

Sunburn is a burn to living tissue such as skin produced by overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, commonly from the sun's rays. Exposure of the skin to lesser amounts of UV will often produce a suntan. Usual mild symptoms in humans and animals are red or reddish skin that is hot to the touch, general fatigue, and mild dizziness.

A lipoma is a common, benign tumor composed of fatty tissue Lipomas are soft to the touch, usually moveable, and are generally painless. They grow very slowly, and in rare cases can become cancerous. Many lipomas are small but can enlarge to sizes greater than six centimeters.

Treatment of Skin problem

Lime Juice Formula: Squeeze lime into a bowl. Add a glass of boiled whole milk and a teaspoon of glycerin to it. Stir well and let it stay for half an hour. Apply this mixture on the face, hands and feet before going to bed at night. This treatment every night will help you to look young and beautiful. It will also help cure pimples.

Peach Treatment : Gently massage the inside of peach peelings on the face every night for a few minutes. Don't rub off the moisture afterwards. This will cleanse the skin thoroughly and free the pores.

Orange Tonic: Blanch and grind a couple of almonds to a paste and mix in two tablespoons of milk and one tablespoon each of carrot and orange juice. Apply thickly on face and neck and leave on for half an hour.

Whitening Lotion: To one tablespoon of cucumber juice stir in a few drops of lime juice and a dash of turmeric powder. Apply on face and neck and wash off after half an hour. Makes an excellent whitener for all types of skins.

Amaranth Juice Treatment: The juice of amaranth, applied over the face with a pinch of turmeric powder, bleaches the skin, prevents it from drying and wrinkling, cures pimples and makes one look fresh.
