Words of Praise to God and a Testimony after Deliverance of Evil

The book of Psalms is a great place to find comfort. Each time in my life when I have been especially “deeply” troubled by something, the Holy Ghost takes me to the book of Psalms and there I find words of wisdom, comfort, refuge and peace.

Psalm 62, beginning with verse one is where the Holy Ghost takes me this night after an attack I recently suffered from Lucifer’s followers. As I read these passages, all of them rang so true as to what I just suffered. This is a manner in which the Holy Ghost guides us, comforts us and instructs us. I did not search any length of time for these passages. I opened the King James Version Bible to this exact spot I am writing of in this article.

A little background here is recently a close relative stole some money from me almost right before my very eyes; however, this person was caught and dealt with appropriately by the laws of the land. There were many lies told during this trial as well. The Holy Ghost is able to help people discern lies from truth, and I experienced some discernment during this trial. Until the end of this story came, I also prayed continually, Lord, deliver me from this person, I feel as though this person is contemplating evil against me, however, I do not know what that evil might be. Just before and during this trial with evil, I wrote a previous article concerning being a “Prisoner of the Lord,” which was also part of the counsel I received from the Holy Ghost concerning this situation.

As we can learn from the examples of Job set before us, sometimes when the evil spirits and the devil takes something from us, if we remain steadfast and hold our integrity with God, God will restore our losses even more than we had to begin with. However, this takes great faith in God, and perfect obedience. Many times were reminded how Job was the most Perfect and Upright man in his day and time. If God does restore our losses much greater than before, we are continually warned not to become “vain” in the fact that we received a just recompense from the Lord.

Now the Lord and the Holy Ghost has come to speak to me about the matter as an aftermath of the attack. I cannot believe how true to this situation these passages are; it is times like this, I know I have done the will of my Father who is in heaven and he sends his messages through the Holy Ghost back to me as a means of saying to me, “you have done a good work, I am with you, read here as how this situation is in my eyes.” I opened the King James Version Bible up to the following words (I have translated some of the words of “ye” and “cometh” into common English words:

Truly my soul waits upon God: from him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation. He is my defense. I shall not be greatly moved.

How long will you imagine mischief against a man? You shall be slain all of you, as a bowing wall shall you be, and as a tottering fence.

They only consult to cast him down from his Excellency: they delight in lies; they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly.

My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from him.

He only is my rock and my salvation. He is my defense. I shall not be moved.

In God are my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.

Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

God has spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongs to God.

Also unto thee, O Lord, belongs mercy: for thou renders to every man according to his work.

At this time, I have been praising God. I turned the page to these passages which speaks exactly what my heart feels at this time:

Oh God, you are my God, early I will see you, my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land, where there is no water.

To see your power and your glory, so I have seen you in the sanctuary.

Because your loving-kindness is better than life, my lips will praise you.

Therefore, I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name. My soul will be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips. When I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the night watches, because you have been my help, I am in the shadow of you wings and I will rejoice.

As being a prisoner of the Lord in this present day and time, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against wickedness in high places and against the rulers of darkness. I have learned also one of our weapons of war fare that is extremely powerful is the use of Bible scripture to speak back to those wicked powers in high places. Lucifer’s knees shake and tremble at the mere mention of the name “Jesus.”
