When you are in the middle of a crisis, your mind rushes in with all different scenarios on how to handle the situation. Besides praying, meditating and worrying, it all boils down to you having faith in yourself. Just believing in yourself and knowing that you are capable of doing the very best in any situation is sometimes all that you need.
Having a strong sense of faith in yourself is not only the best thing for you, but it carries on to others as well. The confidence that you exude will be remembered and is a trait that others will learn from you.
So what do you do when you are not, “feeling it?” There are a few things that you can do. Always, remember who you are! You are important and much bigger than the situation. You are a vital part of this universe. Things may not always go our way but just knowing that the situation is temporary and that you can change it at any given moment. Go within, think about all the situations you have prevailed, think about the times you have almost given up but you kept trying. That’s who you are; courageous and unstoppable.
When you pray you lift the situation up to God. I say, God gives you all of the necessary things to make things happen. When you meditate, you go within to find answers and get a clearer vision, I say do all these things but just know within you is the drive, the conviction and the stamina to make the situation better and to make clear, concise decisions necessary.
Our world is full of mentors. A lot of people don’t know they are mentors, but they are. It is not only the way they carry themselves, but also in the manner that they handle pressure and obstacles.
So, if life does get you down every once in a while, just sit and reflect on who you are, where you are and where you want to be. Take the necessary steps to get you there. Be strong for someone who doesn’t have strength, they will learn from you. At some point in life we were all weak, learning and growing. Share with others how you came to be who you are. Just as a smile does not mean that a person is happy, they could be hiding a frown, someone crying could mean that they are in the storm or just finished weathering a storm.
You are strong, determined, bright, conscious, caring, lovable, hard-working, dedicated, beautiful, up-lifting and giving. You are all of these and can make it through the most difficult of times in just knowing who you are.
