There is free will and then there is God's Will. You cannot work within both, so you must choose one or the other. Most people think that God gave you free will to live your life how you see fit without any consequences; however, when you use your own free will you are then bound by the Laws of Nature or Divine Law which states, whatsoever you sow that shall you also reap. Therefore, all of your actions and every word spoken from your tongue, will have an equal or greater reaction. What goes around comes around. What you put out you very well get back. When you operate under God's Will, there are no consequences because God's Will is preordained for your life. This means that you are following the path that God has laid out for you. The Scriptures tells you to lean not on your own understanding.

Each decision you make and every action you take based on your own free will, does not come back to you void. This is the way man is Divinely Governed in the physical world. If your life is already preordained for you by God and your life path is already laid out for you to follow, but you choose otherwise, your "free will" decision causes you to suffer greatly. No, you are not obligated nor is it a requirement for you to follow God's Will, as God must be invited into your life; however, you will not ever reach your full God-given potential using your own free will. The Scriptures tells you, For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not, shall be taken away even that which he hath.

Everyone gets the call from God, but not everyone is brave enough or has the courage to answer the call. This is one of the reasons the Scriptures states that many are called but few are chosen. This is also why the Scriptures tells us that the harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few. It is a selfish act to pray and ask God for things and not have the Spiritual Discipline to use God's Will in your everyday life. You wonder why your prayers are not being answered. Whenever you pray and ask God for something, the process by which this blessing will arrive in your life starts immediately. You do not notice that God is working in your life to give you what you have prayed for, simply because you are using free will or your own understanding. God always gives you the Spiritual Instructions to prepare to receive what you have prayed for; however, you can only understand the instructions using God's Will. There is absolutely no other way. The Scriptures tells you that you must have the eyes to see or the ears to hear. This is only possible by being obedient to God's Will, of which you must have Spiritual understanding. You have to allow God to work in all areas of your life. If you have asked God for something, you must be obedient to God's Will in order to receive it. God does not impose upon anyone's free will. God must be invited to enter your life.
