I don’t want any readers of this article to think this message is in any way discouragement against going to a good Christianity based church. Contrary to this, I feel it is very important to have a home church in which a person and their family finds fulfillment and enough learning from God’s Word to bring them growth as children of God via The Holy Bible and fellowship with fellow believers. Some churches do have serious problems and those without them have become increasingly rare (e.g. church splits, voted-out pastors, etc.). The good ones that do exist and are relatively without serious problems are to be highly complimented in The Lord. Leaders of families should beware of those sanctuaries, that have potential to cause spiritual harm to their family and friends. I could easily give real life examples of things my own family has experienced and I'm not talking about minor things, but rather those that can literally cause people to stop seeking fellowship and/or relationship with God through Jesus Christ (coverts and non-converts).

The things I have related in past articles and audios, can cause church drop-out and justifiably-so, in many cases. Loss of church attendance on a large scale has been reported in many reputable-source articles that state alarming statistics on this growing phenomenon. Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 "Let no man deceive you by any means, for that Day shall not come, unless there comes a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition". This speaks of church attendance dropping very low, as being a sign of the coming antichrist’s appearance. Jesus said of the same "last days" before the rise of the anti-Christ; "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." – (Matthew 24:12). Is the drop in church attendance these days, due to those things displayed by a lack of love within churches (e.g. arrogance, jealousy, non-compassion, hatefulness, gossip, slander, etc.)? In my opinion, “Yes!” because Satan’s kingdom is working harder for people to stay apart and away from Salvation in Christ Our Savior (Ephesians Chapter 6).

The New Testament, also called in the scriptures, “our New Covenant with God in Christ’s Blood”, says there will be a judgment of nations, in which Jesus - the world's future ruler will separate the "sheep nations on His right" (worthy to enter His Kingdom) and the "goat nations on His left" (unworthy to enter His Kingdom). A parabolic symbol that can easily also be referring to large church denominations. The unworthy ones on his left he states, will be cast into hell, which the scriptures say was "prepared for the devil and his angels" (for fallen angels – not originally for fallen mankind). The worthy ones will be welcomed by The Lord Jesus to enter the everlasting joy of He, His Father and The Holy Spirit (God in Heaven), prepared for the nations who continued to glorify Him (my paraphrase). The point being in question form; Has America continued to glorify The Lord or have they diminished Him, with so many anti-Christ practices? This includes disallowing creationism teaching and prayer in school, some wanting to take "one nation 'under God'", out of The Pledge of Allegiance, not supporting Israel and... supporting abortions. There have been over 52,000,000 abortions in the U.S., since 1970. Only God can judge between the nations and church denominations but there looks to be a large-scale turn-around needed (repentance) for the USA.

NOTE: God will have already taken His people home to Heaven, before the judgment of the sheep and goat nation’s takes place. The evil that exists in the world for example, is sometimes a stumbling block toward belief in Our Creator God and of His Word to us, The Holy Bible. Some atheists use it as their reason for non-belief. Evil however, wouldn’t exist in this present world if God's first created man and woman, had not broken the covenant God made with them (The Old Testament). Part of that contract/agreement stated that in the day they partook of the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good AND EVIL, they would die spiritually and later, physically. Plus, they brought a curse on the earth – “Cursed is the ground because of you.” – (Genesis 3:17). God allows evil in the present world because mankind allowed it first, through breach of the covenant The Lord made with us. The solution to being lost was also provided by Our Creator, being salvation/redemption by The Blood of His precious Son, The Messiah Christ Jesus. - (John 3:16)

Author's Bio:

I am a graduate of Liberty University (1996) for completion of theological studies. Bible studies are one of my most-covered book-subjects. I am however, careful to only address those subjects I believe God has given me correct revelation on. I was a Christian Youth Minister, beginning in the 1980s for approximately 20 years (between youth ministries I served in other church capacities as well). I was also a guest speaker to churches, who invited me to present important Bible teachings to their evangelical congregations, during those same years.

I am a redeemed man, who has received salvation by acceptance of Jesus Christ and what he did for me in shedding his blood and dying for me on the cross and in his resurrection from the dead, giving me the promise of eternal life, purely by grace (not due to anything I have done, other than to accept it freely).
