Where you came from does not mean that you are destined to be in a certain situation, place, or doing a certain thing. Where you are going depends on you; and the amount of determination and work that you are willing to put forth to get you where you want to be.
Some people forget where they came from, and they do this purposefully to drown out the pain associated with it. One of the reasons you don’t want to forget where you came from is that there are others waiting and wanting to do well, and want a better life and to fulfill their dreams. They are starting from the same point you did. Don’t forget where you came from.
Not one person walking this world is better than another. We all walk the same, and have our own individual dreams; everyone should be able to live theirs. No one is better than anyone else. Some people apply themselves more than others, and some just don’t know where or how to start. Are you the teacher or the student?
There aren’t enough mentors in the world. For every weakened soul, there should be someone there to help lift it. For every tear that is shed, there should be a loving soul to say that everything will be ok. For every hope and every dream, there should be someone there to cheer them on. If you have made it in this ever-changing world we live in, please show others that they can too.
A little dream, with a little help, can make a world of difference. We all have a root, and when planted, can grow so beautifully when nourished.
An education may give you knowledge, but you don’t know everything. If you own your own business, you do not own the world. If you are power tripping; always be careful not to stumble. We live in a humble world, where one shoe can be easily filled with another.
