Description: | ICODA's 6th International Tour "Don't die without having visited Nepal. It's special beyond description, and like no other place I've ever been." Join Swami Premodaya and Swami Prem Prasad in experiencing the wonders of Nepal's unique ancient culture, steeped in Buddhism and Hinduism. Even the 4,000-year-old Vedas refer to Nepal by name as a longstanding civilization! If you're attending our 12th Annual Winter Retreat in India, ICODA will fly you (roundtrip) to Kathmandu: fabled exotic capital city at the foot of the Himalayas, where life revolves around constant religious and cultural festivals. We'll celebrate New Year's Day together, as the first full day of this 5-day/4-night excursion to the top of the world. Your heart will melt when you experience the kindness, warmth, friendliness and welcoming hospitality of the Nepali people. The final leg of this once-in-a-lifetime journey will be an overnight stay at Tapoban, the second largest Osho community in the world. Commissioned by Osho himself as an international commune and spiritual center, it's perched on the hillside of the lush Nagarjuna forest. Tapoban is the actual location where Buddhism's revered holy saint Nagarjuna attained final enlightenment 2,000 years ago. 2,000 years later, it's where Osho's sacred remains are buried (you can meditate sitting next to Osho's ashes). Tapoban is very well-established (founded 1999), and often reported to be palpably radiating Osho's celebratory energy of ecstatic supreme consciousness, where many feel transported into deep states of bliss, unconditional love, and absolute serenity. Depart Chandigarh, India: Monday December 31, 2018 ~ 1:00pm "This 6th ICODA International Tour is an homage to my beloved Master, Osho, and I say to you, in Osho's exact words: 'Won't you join the dance?'
