Description: | THIS MEETING CONTINUES BUT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO WEDNESDAY 29 SEPTEMBER. We wish everyone a lot of strength in the near future. About this Event On September 29, the Benelux Chapter of the Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS) will be organizing another unique panel discussion and networking meeting for everyone interested in eDiscovery at the headquarters of KPMG in Amstelveen. This time, the panel of experts will discuss developments in the eDiscovery world, which we can expect in 2020. A new year, a new decade. What will that mean for the eDiscovery world? More data? Even more and even stricter legislation? More and even more enthusiastic supervisors? And how can lawyers, internal researchers and corporate lawyers best respond to what is to come? How can technology help us with this? To answer these questions, the Benelux Chapter of ACEDS is again organizing a special panel discussion this spring. This time we are guests at the KPMG office in Amstelveen. Lawyers, researchers and supervisors will discuss the following issues with specialists from the eDiscovery field: We have so much technology at our disposal: smart search with machine learning, automatic anonymization and much more. Why don't we apply these techniques on a larger scale? And how can we increase the use of this indispensable technology? In May we celebrate the second anniversary of the GDPR. Time to reflect on this strictest privacy legislation to date. How does the GDPR currently limit reactive and proactive research or monitoring? What exactly are the (im) possibilities of the GDPR when using eDiscovery technology? You are most welcome to attend the meeting. Participation is free, but ACEDS members receive priority registration so be quick!
