Like many women her age, poor eating habits and lack of physical activity led to weight gain over the years. Evon embarked upon a quest to regain control of her body. After much research, trial and error, Evon found that eating a balanced diet and participating in regular physical activity would be the key components in her quest towards a healthier body. She founded SarahAlexanderFitness.com and wrote her first book, "101 Steps to a Fitter You! A Common Sense Approach to a Healthier Lifestyle," to help other women meet their goals.
Evon is committed to helping women meet their weight management goals through a realistic plan. Evon's philosophy is simple: "By eating the right foods, increasing cardiovascular activity, and building muscle, you will burn fat." She walked in her first half-marathon at the age of 53 and has since completed two more half-marathons. Evon is Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Telefitness Exercise Systems certified.
