Like many of us Gina Silvestri was connected to her true spirit while spending time in nature as a child. Her parents were born in tiny Italian mountain villages and raised her naturally, even living outside every summer, until Gina was twelve. This enhanced her connection to the spiritual world and the empathic abilities she displayed early on in childhood. No one was surprised when Gina chose the path of healing upon graduating from university.

She worked as a private and government counselor, working with groups, individuals, adults and children. Fifteen years into this career, Gina was entrusted with a high profile murder case. The stress from this case caused her to hit rock bottom emotionally and physically. She was diagnosed with “Post-traumatic Stress Disorder” and was treated with medication for 3 years. More medication followed to manage the side effects.This brought upon depression, liver disorder and further medication, as well as obesity. Growing up slim, healthy, and athletic her whole life, Gina tragically found herself weighing 300 pounds with 17 official diagnoses on her medical record.

At her lowest point, Gina lost her will to live. This is when her early-childhood connection to the spirit world re-emerged.  Spirit intervened with a message conveyed through a friend that she hadn't seen in years. This "angel in disguise" said the two words that snapped her out of her modern world slump - “Raw Food." He reminded her of her infinite power to heal. Not just others, but herself, too.

Within a matter of 12 months, Gina lost all the excess weight. She found herself free from all the previous medical diagnoses. Currently, 5 years later, she attributes her success to regular connection with nature, raw living food, sunshine, movement, authentic connections with others and meditation. This thriving in health has also now extended to her "work" life, which she now calls her "service" life, too!

Immediately after experiencing her transformation, Gina created a blog to share all she was learning with others. Ten thousand followers later (that she knows of!), she now has a successful Holistic Life Coaching and Motivational Speaking business. Gina feels blessed to be alive today. She has fully stepped into her purpose and feels grateful to inspire and serve through her individual and group coaching services, motivational speaking events, and radio show. 

Gina's personal clients have found that having someone who "has been there" guide their path invaluable, but her credentials don't stop there. She was working as a counsellor prior to earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Sociology in 2001, and remained committed to working with the same clientele for 18 years, in both private and government settings.
