Poetry is a beautiful way to express my innermost feelings. When problems began blowing my way, as does the wind with its fury, my pen began to ride out the storm with its soothing words. Those comforting thoughts cannot be expressed otherwise. Only the Lord and my pen knew the words. If you ever reminisce about family and days gone by, you will enjoy my poems. My desire is that my collection will bring comfort to each heart, hope for the future, and faith to gain the victory.
I grew up on a farm in central Illinois and married the good-looking boy across the pasture and raised two sons and one daughter, whom are all married with three grandsons and five granddaughters. I am a singer, musician, wife, mother and a cancer survivor twice. My faith, family and country mean the most to me.
Writing is a welcome adventure and a perfect instrument to pen your thoughts and emotions. Never dismiss the power of the human mind or what beauty can be produced by treasured thoughts. Find a quiet place to pause and believe in what you can achieve on paper.
Sincere Poetry Blessings,
