Nationally certified Clinical Massage Therapist Kathryn Daniels graduated with Honors from The Soma Institute in Chicago, IL and has been practicing clinical bodywork ever since. Kathryn has worked with post-operative and rehab patients at area hospitals, geriatric and young adult populations, numerous experimental case studies, and elite athletes at multiple Chicago Marathons. She specializes in deep-tissue and trigger point therapy as well as musculoskeletal pathology and chronic pain management. In 2007 Kathryn trained in Lymph Drainage Therapy with the Upledger Institute and researched soft tissue therapies for treatment of depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Currently working with a top foot and ankle surgeon in his rehabilitation and physical therapy department, as well as maintaining a private practice, Kathryn sees soft-tissue therapies and massage in particular as highly effective treatment tools in helping patients live more fully in their bodies and to own their innate healing potential in all aspects of their lives.
“I work with my patients to better receive and interpret the signals their bodies send them as well as to find relief and prevention for chronic and subacute pain.”
"The only ones among you who will be really happy are those of you who have sought and found how to serve." -- Albert Schweitzer
