I am a Creator of Happiness, I help people to feel happier. Using a combination of NLP, Hypnotherapy, EFT, Timeline and positive psychology I help you to let go of the negative and focus on the positive.
I worked as an HR Manager (Human Resources) for 20 years specialising in employee relations and change management. I was always interested in people's mental health at work and dedicated a lot of time learning and exploring stress issues at work. This led into positive psychology, NLP and alternative therapies exploring how people coped and thrived in times of stress and difficult situations. In 2006 I made the move from HR to business owner and Stress the Positive was created to help people beat stress, depression and anxiety.
In Oct 2007, less than a year after my new business was created my son Calum died from meningitis very suddenly. He was almost 13 years old and my life changed for ever. I found myself experiencing all the issues that I had set out to help. Now I was faced with a real challenge to come back from a very very dark place and create a happy life again.
I am delighted to tell you that I did it. It wasn't easy, there is no magic cure or one solution but I put every piece of knowledge and skill that I had learned into practice and gradually the light and colour came back into my life. So now I have even more passion and belief in creating happiness. I know with absolute certainty that focusing on what you want will make a difference but you also need to know how to get there. That is what I do - I show you how.
