Kim Stacey is a professional freelance writer and copywriter, living in Boulder Creek, California with her teenaged son, slightly neurotic terrier and two cats. Formally trained as an anthropologist, she has lived in, or traveled to, countries around the world doing research and writing.

Today, she brings her love of archival and field research to diverse subject matter: infertility, search engine optimization, aromatherapy, and her over-riding passion: the cross-cultural study of death rituals.
