Marie Hendrix is a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, approved Daycare Trainer, Babies Can't Wait service provider and coaching team member, certified Active Parenting Trainer of Trainers, Christian Education Director, and writer. She is a cum laude graduate from the University of Georgia with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. During her more than 30 years of professional service, she has pioneered a tri-county preschool program for differently-abled children along with three pediatric outpatient rehabilitation facilities. She provides school and community based speech therapy services, and has coached and trained hundreds of parents and caregivers through her business, Speech Care, Inc.

In spite of her accomplishments, her primary role has been learner. Her extensive training is diverse. Professional instructors and mentors, as well as peer teachers and rehab team members have contributed to her wealth of knowledge. Yet, her son, Ken, and other children and their caregivers have been her most inspirational teachers. Her life’s purpose is to assist individuals in their pursuit of success. Her new business, Decoding Kids, is dedicated to maximizing each child's potential by supporting and educating their caregivers. In addition to Daycare training programs, she has written articles for Childcare Exchange Magazine.

Marie and her husband, Kenneth actively train leadership teams and coach individuals at their church and in their “spare” time, they enjoy their farm life in Lavonia, GA.
