Open Forest LLC offers easy and convenient self-help programs to alleviate the symptoms of many mental health conditions. These include ADHD, depression, anxiety, and problem drinking, with much more on the horizon. All programs are designed by PhD-qualified professionals and are based on approaches that are evidence-based, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, or CBT.
The principles of cognitive and behavioral science are an integral part of bringing positive change about because thoughts, feelings, physical sensations, and behavior are so closely connected. In the process, mindfulness techniques are also explained and clients are guided to practice a mindful attitude. Research has proven that the ability to be mindful is linked to acceptance, emotional stability, and compassion, all hallmarks of well-being.
All the Open Forest programs are conducted over nine weekly sessions, which can be repeated or extended depending on the need on the client.
