Pete Bissonette, President and Publisher, first met Paul Scheele cofounder of Learning Strategies Corporation in 1981 after hearing an interview on KSTP radio in the Twin Cities. Paul was discussing NLP and how he could tell how someone thinks by watching their eye movements.
With his interest piqued, Pete, a magazine and newspaper writer, wrote a series of articles on Paul's breakthrough work and the amazing results Paul's clients generated on their own.
In the ensuing years, Pete Bissonette studied neuro-linguistic programming, accelerated learning, preconscious processing, and other personal development technologies with Paul Scheele and others.
During 1985 Paul studied super-fast readers at the request of a Fortune 500 company. They wanted a solution for "too much to read in too little time," but they did not want speedreading. During the research of developing a program that became PhotoReading, Paul called Pete and asked, "What if you can learn to go through books as fast as you can turn the pages?"
Soon Pete was PhotoReading ten books a day. He joined Paul as a partner in Learning Strategies Corporation to develop and market the PhotoReading Whole Mind System.
Learning Strategies has evolved into one of the largest life-improvement publishers and training companies in the world with well over a million books and CDs circulating in at least 155 countries.
Today Pete Bissonette spends his days on marketing, publishing, and business development. And, yes, he is a big fan of our products. "I PhotoRead nearly every day — thousands of books so far, I practice Spring Forest Qigong from thirty minutes to two hours a day, I keep my home totally updated with Diamond Feng Shui, and I have all of our programs loaded on my iPod — of course, the Paraliminals are my favorites."
Pete is a founding member of the Transformational Leadership Council and sits on its board with Jack Canfield, Marcia Martin, Marci Shimoff, Stewart Emery, and Raymond Aaron. The Transformational Leadership Council was founded so leaders of personal and organizational transformation could support each other in their contributions to the world.
Don't be surprised to find that your email or telephone call is answered by Pete. "I spend several hours each week talking with clients to make sure we truly help people experience their potential."
