Rebecca is a private practitioner offering Holistic Counseling and Therapy and Therapeutic Touch (TT). She is a Therapeutic Touch teacher, lecturer and clinical consultant. She is Immediate Past Coordinator of Nurse Healers-Professional Associates International, the official organization of Therapeutic Touch (NH-PAI). Nurse Healers-Professional Associates International recognizes Rebecca as a Qualified Therapeutic Touch Teacher, Mentor and Practitioner.
Rebecca received her Masters degree at New York University in New York City and her initial Nursing Education at Akron General Medical Center and the University of Akron, Akron, Ohio. She is certified as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, an AIDS Certified RN by the National Association for Nurses in AIDS care, and is Licensed as both a Registered Nurse and a Professional Counselor by the state of Utah. She has been an active RN for more than 30 years with experience in most areas of clinical practice and case management. Rebecca has been included in Who’s Who in Nursing, and Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare. She has extensive counseling and therapy experience in working with individuals with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families, and with issues related to grief and loss. In addition she has had extensive experiences with ADHD and many areas of mental health including depression, stress, anxiety, couple and family issues, and group counseling. Rebecca works with individuals of all ages.
Rebecca has extensive experience as a Therapeutic Touch Healer and Teacher. She works with diverse conditions and assists individuals in healing in body, mind, emotion and spirit. She is published in Aspen , Elsevier JAMA and has numerous writings for Nurse Healers-Professional Associates International .
