 My introduction to astrology happened at age 16 when Mom took me to an astrologer for my 16th birthday.

The astrologer was Fred Thurman and this was in Chicago, my home town. He had a wonderful office, with a large, two layered wheel covered in parchment, one for natal aspects and another for transits. This wheel was quite large at about 2.5 fee in diameter, with dark brown markings for the planets and clothes pin type devices to mark the transits on the wheel (remember this was way before computers). He smoked a pipe and moved like a snail which drove this triple Gemini mad with restlessness. But when a calm finally came over me, he started the reading (he'd been waiting for me to relax!). Everything he said would happen DID - the good and the bad. It blew my mind. Thereafter I went to him annually. Fred was in his 60's and had been doing astrology readings since he was 25. It was one of many experiences with "old" people that made me fall in love with their experience and realize what I could learn from them (my paternal grandmother also raised me for several years of my childhood and she became my role model).

From then on I studied astrology inside and out, used friends and family as my test subjects, and the rest is history. I love helping people see their intended path, help them get on track again and watch them unfold, and I am always here for people when issues come up or they have questions to help them figure out timing. Astrology has been around for thousands of years for a reason - it works!
