“Healing with Negative Ion Machines”

I was contacted by a client of mine in Jamaica who was raving about his new machine he bought. After using the machine he had rashes disappear, he felt better in general and was sleeping better. I have to say I was extremely skeptical of the whole process, but wanted to keep an open mind. So I contact the company and they so nice shipped me a negative ion machine to try for a few days. The machine is very simple, it has power supply, a little black electronic box with one button and a blue light, and a wire that attaches to a matt that a person sits on for 20 minutes.

The day before I received the machine I was working putting together book shelves for my office and was kneeling down for 2 hours. And the next day I was extremely painful in my upper thighs. So I decided this was a good opportunity to try the new machine and see how it worked. So I sat down on the matt in a chair for 20 minutes. When I got up I was surprised, my inflammation and pain had almost completely disappeared. The next day I used the machine again and my pain was gone.

Still being skeptical I had a friend of mine who does not sleep well use the machine. She used the machine for 20 minutes… and that night she slept like a baby, and the following night she also slept well. So far I’ve noticed positive changes when it comes to healing with negative ions machines.
This make sense, because science shows that negative ions are very healing. Every time we go to the ocean we breathe in negative ions and we feel invigorated and full of life. We feel more relaxed and thus we have less stress, and this leads to less inflammation which leads to less pain.

Studies show that negative ions improve our mood bringing about feelings of wellness… and washes away depression. Other studies show that those who have asthma who are exposed to negative ions are less likely to have asthma attacks. Also studies show that the tiny little hairs that lining our respiratory tract called “cilia” sweeping out airborne particles become much more active when exposed to negative ions… thus our lungs and nasal passages become healthier.

Studies show that people who are exposed to negative ions also have lower stress levels and thus feel better and have more energy. Also negative ions lower blood pressure, increase serotonin in the our brain thus producing good mood. And negative ions reduce the number of headaches people have by almost 80%. And in studies with negative ions people were able to concentrate better, their memory capacity improved, they were able to focus better, and they were much more alert… thus they were able to preform better at work and at home. And children with learning disabilities exposed to negative ions have improved memory capabilities and attention spans.

Other studies have found that negative ions alleviate subclinical thyroid problems which might lead to active thyroid problems later in life. Other studies show that negative ions reduce adrenal exhaustion and the subsequent drop in norepinephrine levels. Thus negative ions help to balance hormones, increase vitality, and energy levels.

There have also been studies showing that negative ions increase the amount of antioxidant enzyme “superoxide dismutase" in our bodies. This powerful antioxidant keeps us from coming down with cardiovascular disease, strokes, and even cancer and slows the aging process by getting rid of free radicals thus helping to prevent DNA damage. And negative ions seem to have an influence on our circadian rhythms… thus brings about harmony in our life. Also negative ions alkalize the body thus keeping away disease.

Dr. Tomoh Tsubushi a sports medicine specialist at Tokyo Metropolitan University in Japan did a study showing that people who exercised and then had negative ion therapy recovered much faster from their workouts, their blood pressure went down faster, their serotonin levels normalized faster… and much more.

Other studies show those who have surgery recover 60% faster with negative ion therapy, and need less pain killers during recovery… plus negative ions have amazing sedating qualities.

It makes sense that producing negative ions in our bodies creates positive changes in our mood, memory, alertness, helps with stress and pain, lowers the possibility disease, slows the aging process, helps with depression, inflammation, helps with headaches and asthma, or if a person wants to recover faster from workouts… or has other health challenges one of these machines might work great.

The negative ion machine I used was produced by Sunmax. But their are many others negative ion machines on the market. Remember everyone is an individual and results may vary and these machines are much different than negative ion producing air filters.
