Life has happened to you and it has not always been fun. And now you are beginning to think that you need to settle for any old nonsense that comes your way.
So what, that you are bored to death with the status quo?! You have somehow convinced yourself that this is all you can get and you may as well get used to it.
I used to be that way…
I used to think that life was just too hard and all I was going to do was struggle…
Finally I woke up and saw the light and remembered that I was solely responsible for my outlook on life…
I had full power over what I demanded from life and if I wanted a new outcome, I had to create it.
Same goes with you…
1. Look at your life as it is
Is it all you wanted? Or is there more that you want to create? Do not create internal dramas about your life and business, just see what you are currently living and start to figure out what you would rather it look like.
2. Do some thinking
Next, it is time to put your thinking cap on. So, you see your life as it is and it is not quite what you had hoped it would be at this stage…
Look for the root of discontent. Think about what actions you are taking that are causing you to get this ‘less than ideal’ situation. This will call for you to take full responsibility for your outcomes. There can be no blaming anyone else for the results you have created.
And also, remember the results in your life are a product of your actions to date.
If you can see just how simple that is, you will know that you are all-powerful to change things.
3. Create a new vision
So, what do you really want? What could you aim for? You don’t have to have the hugest goal, sometimes that can be scary and so then you take no action towards it. Instead, set a goal and create a vision that you can grab ahold of and truly own, inside and out. There will always be time to expand that vision as you start heading in its direction.
4. Take action
The time for only thinking is passed. You cannot remain navel-gazing forever so instead, figure out a next step and implement it now. You cannot over think this. You already know the first step and so you need to take it. And expect that you will receive more wisdom as you move.
Make a commitment to yourself to actually create the vision you want. Plaster your vision through your brain and get into the habit of saying to yourself “I can do it!”
Face fear and know that it does not have to stop you. You can move despite it.
5. Tweak, Try New Things
As you take action, you will see what is working and what is not. This will only happen if you let go of your attachment to things working the way you think they should. We all know someone who is trapped doing the same old things over and over and over again, even though we KNOW that it is not working. Do not be that person.
Be light and loose and willing to change direction, if it seems that the way you are going is just not working.
Keep your focus on the vision – Be outcome focused – Who cares how you get there as long as you get there! Allow yourself to do new things and stretch yourself beyond your comfort zone. You can do this.
And this works for any area of your life.
