First of all we will discuss about Fistula. Fistula is an abnormal connection between two vessels or organs. Fistula can occur anywhere in the body but mainly it occurs in vagina, intestine, skin, and rectum.
1. Colovesical fistula is an abnormal connection between the colon (large intestine) and urinary bladder while in Anal fistula there is an abnormal connection between the anal canal and peri-anal skin. It’s a small opening seen in the anal canal which discharges pus.
2. Colovesical fistula is an uncommon condition as compare to the anal fistula.
3. Colovesical fistula occurs due to diverticulitis, colorectal cancer, as a complication of colon radiotherapy or crohn's disease but anal fistula mainly occurs due to blockage or clogging of anal glands, due to chronic constipation and obesity.
4. Colovesical fistula can occur at any age but Anal fistula mainly occurs at the age of 20-40.

Colovesical fistula is a very painful condition, in this condition the fecal matter enters from colon to bladder which causes severe pain and other complications.
Diverticulitis or Diverticular disease In Diverticulitis, inflammation occurs in the diverticulum, which are small pouches formed along the large intestine wall.

As a complication of Surgery of Bladder or Colon and Radiotherapy, - Crohn's disease
