Trust me, there can be no person in this world, whom nobody loves! It could be your way of looking at things that makes you think that nobody loves you. Come, let’s investigate...
Our thinking has a deep influence on our own self and on others too.
When we see the bad experiences in our life to be the sole truth, and internally blame ourselves for all of that, we assume the feeling that nobody loves us. And as we start living with such negative thoughts more and more, our negativity not only affects us but also influences the others around us.
How would you feel when the fragrance of sandalwood surrounds you? Fresh and divine, isn’t it?! It would instantly change your entire mood. All your troubles and worries seem to release and it brings on your face a big, broad smile.
Somewhat similar is the case with the energy inside you! This energy affects not only your mind but your body language too. Your very belief that nobody loves you generates negative energy that makes your face dull and sad. Now tell me, even when someone loves you a lot, how will they be able to break this wall (that you constantly keep building through your negative thinking)?
We all have our set of shortcomings and strengths within.
It does not matter what you are. What matters is your honest intent to overcome your shortcomings and simultaneously enhance your strengths by using it in the help of others.
1.So, first of all, change the way you think about yourself. Infuse the right belief within that, “I am lovable. I am loved by all.” When you change your belief, your karma in turn will change accordingly. And when your karma changes your fate / your future too will change automatically
2.The next thing you must do is begin a store of happiness. Yes! This means you distribute happiness to whoever comes to you. That’s all you need to do to run your store of happiness. And then see how happiness comes running to you and will keep chasing you wherever you go.
3.To fulfill the above, take care you do not hurt anybody from your end. Eg. Let there be no insistence in establishing your view, no attempt to refute other’s opinions, no long discussions of pros and cons on any subject, for at times this may lead to conflict. Brush aside demonstration of your cleverness in interactions because when pride tends to creep in, it hurts others very badly.
4.Whenever we hurt anybody, by reaction we will get suffering for sure. This is the cause. Therefore, daily morning, pray to God that, “May no living being be ever hurt by my thoughts, words or actions.” This is a very important prayer; so do it and you will experience the wonders!
5.When the other person happens to hurt or harm us, at that time we must understand that we have done some mistake in the past, and the result of the mistake is coming now through this person, in present. So, whenever someone may hurt you, accept it with the right understanding that, “Oh, I have done some mistake in past. And its result has come, so it is finished now. If I do not react right now, then in future no suffering will ever come to me.”
6.Do not blame yourself for anything bad that happened in your relationships. Rather, do hearty pratikraman. In Pratikraman, there are 3 steps:
•Apology. I have done so and so mistake
•Repentance. I ask for forgiveness for my mistake.
•Promise. I decide not to do this mistake again.
This is enough! Pratikraman does not mean cribbing over it, “Oh! I have made this mistake, why did I do this mistake...” No, this will bring in negativity. Instead, you can directly connect with the Pure Soul (God) residing in the person you’ve hurt, and ask for strength from the Pure Soul to not do the mistake again. Then the negativity or the guilt-feeling will automatically dissolve.
7.The situations that come up in our life come to grow the spiritual qualities of patience, humility, surrender and ultimately love into our being. And thus we become more loving, forgiving, helping, contented and peaceful. So leave aside whether somebody loves you or not, you begin to nurture real love for everyone now. In real love, one only gives. There is oneness there. Such love accommodates everyone. The atmosphere around such loving person is very beautiful.
Such love arises when one comes into the realm of the real Self. And this can happen when with the grace of Gnani, the Enlightened One, you attain Self-Realization!!!
Then, as you follow Gnani’s teachings, you shall stop looking at ‘who loves me and who loves me not’, you’ll no more care for respect or insult, you will be able to speak more freely and lovingly, you’ll no more get dejected nor elated. You become humble and egoless, and there will only be love without hatred following it.
How can it be called love when there is hatred associated with it?
Real love is unwavering and unchanging since it does not get followed by hatred in any circumstances. Here lies the difference between a Gnani (the Enlightened one) and agnani (ordinary people). Gnani is free from attachment and hatred in every action, and the agnani has attachment and hatred in his every action.
Hence, even when nobody loves you, you can still find the real love in the heart of Gnani, and with His help discover such love in your Self too. This will make you happy not momentarily but permanently, for the real Self (Soul) is an abode of eternal bliss. So, go to Gnani, attain Self-Realization from Him and taste the real love that yields permanent happiness!

Ambalal M. Patel was a civil contractor by profession. In June 1958, spontaneous Self-Realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. From this point on, Ambalal became a Gnani Purush, and the Lord that manifest within him became known as Dada Bhagwan. A Gnani Purush is One who has realized the Self and is able help others do the same. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang (spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self, as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him. This spiritual science, known as Akram Vignan, is the step-less path to Self-realization.
