Critical Thinking: Is Someone Deluded If They See Themselves As Being ‘Awake’?

There are people who see themselves as being ‘awake' and even ‘high vibration’ and, in their eyes, it can be essential for other people to ‘wake up’ and to even ‘raise their vibration’. This can be seen as a key part of what will change what is taking place on this earth.

Someone like this can see themselves as being on one level and those who are not in their position can be on another level. It is then not going to be a surprise if they have what is often described as a ‘superiority complex’.

A Natural Outcome

The way that they see themselves will define how they see reality and the people who they come into contact with. Deep down, they may even see themselves as some kind of messiah.

One of their main tasks, then, whilst they are here, will be to wake up as many people as possible. Through doing this and raising people’s vibration, they will believe that the world will change.

Support

As they are this way, there is a strong chance that there will be a number of people in their life who are the same. One might only allow themselves to spend time with people who also see themselves as ‘awake’.

This could be seen as the way for them to keep their own ‘vibration’ high and not to get sucked into ‘negative’ energy. There will be the validation that one gives these people and the validation that one receives from them.

Getting The Message Out

Thanks to social media, it won’t be hard for them to share their views with those who are ‘awake’ and those who aren’t. This can be a place where one can prove how ‘awake’ they are.

Through what they say and the articles and videos that they share, for instance, they will make it clear that they are ‘in the know’. Like an alarm that goes off in the morning, they will be there to ‘wake’ people up.

A Lot of Eyes

As time goes by, they could end up with a very big following; that’s if they don’t already have one. One could view some of these people as being ‘awake’, some as almost being ‘awake’ and others as being totally ‘asleep’.

Fortunately, if they do come into contact with people who are ‘asleep’, they will be able to block them. This will stop their ‘vibration’ from lowering and allow them to stay focused on their mission of waking people up.

It’s clear

So, from the outside, it could be said that someone like this will be different from those who are not like them. They will come across differently, say different things, and even have a lot of charisma.

Nonetheless, what if they are on a massive ego trip and are not actually as ‘awake’ as they believe they are? What if they have simply formed an identity around being awake which prevents them from realising what is going on?

The Big Deception

One thing that their ego-mind, along with their eyes, will do is create the impression that they are merely an observer of what is going on ‘out there’. As a result of this, they will just happen to come into contact with people who are not ‘awake’ or ‘high vibration’.

Yet, as one is not simply an observer of their reality and this is just an illusion, it will mean that what is going on ‘out there’ is a reflection of their own consciousness. In other words, the people who are ‘asleep’ and ‘low vibration’ are a reflection of them.

Self-Deception

Also, ‘awake’ and ‘asleep’ and ‘high’ and ‘low’ are expressions of duality, something that is a creation of the mind. Therefore, as one ever puts themselves above others, they are operating out of ego-consciousness.

Now, when it comes to why one would see themselves as being above the people ‘out there’ who are ‘asleep’ even though these people are a reflection of their own consciousness, it could largely be seen as a consequence of repression and projection. Thus, along with the identity that they have formed, the parts of themselves that they have lost touch with, and projected into others, will allow them to deceive themselves.

Two Levels

When it comes to their identity, this won’t allow them to acknowledge anything that goes against their view of themselves. Said another way, their mind will filter out anything that would cause them to question who they are.

What this will do is stop them from being able to acknowledge certain parts of themselves; the parts that they would need to acknowledge in order to change what appears to be taking place ‘out there’. Their conscious mind can generally be full of ‘positivity’ but their unconscious mind can be full of ‘negativity’.

The law of Correspondence

Unless one takes a step back and no longer tries to change what is going on ‘out there’, they will continue to be caught up in a dream of their own creation. This will keep their spiritualised ego pumped up, but what it won’t do, is allow them to change their own consciousness and, in the process, the collective consciousness.

Ultimately, there is no one ‘out there’ who they need to wake up; instead, they need to look into what needs to be resolved inside themselves. This will stop them from wasting their own time and energy trying to change their own shadow or reflection.

Final Thoughts

Letting go of this identity can be tough, especially if it has used it to keep toxic shame and self-hate at bay. This will be the last thing that a big part of them wants to do.

When it comes to working through their inner wounds, they may need to reach out for external support. This is something that can be provided by the assistance of a therapist or healer.
