People are worried about bad karma because the one who binds bad karma is given to suffer the bad result of that karma; and the results of bad karma are never easy, it brings in great suffering and misery.
Lord is the one who drives us in doing good and bad things is a sheer myth!
Neither does Lord drive us into doing anything, good or bad, nor does God reward or punish us for doing any good or bad thing. God never interferes in any of this at all.
Param Pujya DadaBhagwan,an enlightened spiritual Master says:
In our past life, we only made causes (bound karma), the result of which we are getting in this life. So, we ourselves are at fault.
If you want to understand the science further, Gnani explains how we commit faults:
Due to ignorance (of really who am I), ego (I am John–please insert your name here) comes into being
From ego, intellect arises.
Intellect gives rise to attachment and hatred, which cause the karma to get charged.
This is how we are whole and sole responsible for whatever happens in our life; not only in this life, but since infinite lives.
Who is God?
To realize the truth, it is important to realize God!
In this world, there are six eternal elements, of which one of them is the Pure Soul. Soul is the real Self of all of us. Our Soul, when it reaches its full stage, is called God.
Now let’s hear from Gnani how we all develop to become God
He illustrates the fact by giving an example. Suppose, every living being is a student.
From nursery to Ph D level, there are so many students. But each student is not of first standard, or is not of second standard only. Slowly, as they develop, they will reach to the second standard; if one passes the second standard, he will go to the third standard. Slowly, these students are developing, isn’t it?
And when one reaches the PhD level, he is called a Doctor. Similarly, in spirituality, when a person develops and reaches the full stage, he is called God!
This is a non-stop process. When some student who is in PhD moves out, at that time, another student is coming into nursery, who later goes to first standard, then to second standard. This flow of students remains continuous; it is infinite.
Earlier, there have been so many people who have already become God, there are so many people who are now going to become God; also there are people who are in an ignorant stage, and slowly they are developing.
Why-are-people-worried-about-bad-karma-when-he-lord-is-the-one-who-drives-us-in-doing-good-and-bad-things?
When a person reaches to Self-Realization, he then definitely becomes God within few lives.
Here is the turning point!
Person must get knowledge of Self-Realization, then he can also become God. When he discharges all files (results of good and bad karma), when he resolves all files (results of good and bad karma), he becomes God.
Every Soul is God, just that enlightenment of Soul must take place.
But unless and until we are in a state to recognize this formless God (the Pure Soul within), worshipping idols of Lord in temples or visiting mosque and praying before Allah is a huge support to boost the divine energy (energy of the Pure Soul) in our daily life.
When we worship God with pure love and devotion, we sow the seeds of good karma. The result of these seeds will give us happiness in the form of good life and luck. We will experience positivity around us easily and effortlessly.
When we are surrounded by such good environment, our thoughts mature to a level that helps us rise in spiritual development. This results in binding of more good karmas; with the help of which eventually we are able to meet a Gnani, an Enlightened being in person, who can help us find the God residing within us (through Self-Realization)!!!
This opens up the path of our ultimate liberation ☺

Ambalal M. Patel was a civil contractor by profession. In June 1958, spontaneous Self-Realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. From this point on, Ambalal became a Gnani Purush, and the Lord that manifest within him became known as Dada Bhagwan. A Gnani Purush is One who has realized the Self and is able help others do the same. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang (spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self, as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him. This spiritual science, known as Akram Vignan, is the step-less path to Self-realization.
