Articles make up the majority of content on the internet. Articles are also the foundation of all of your other content such as blog posts, videos, podcasts, etc...
Here are parts to include in all of your articles to make them more effective.
1. A Good Title- If no one clicks on your title then no one will read your article. Therefore, having a good title for your article is extremely important.
Questions and negative qualifiers tend to do well in titles.
An example a negative qualifier in a title would be " The Reason Why You Must Not..." or "Ways to Avoid..."
Some examples of article titles with a question would be "How to..." or "Why Women Should..."
Also having lists in your title seems to work well too. An example of this would be "3 Ways to..." or "5 Steps to..."
2. Article Summary- This is a 2-3 sentence introduction to your article that supports the title. It will tell your readers what to expect when they read your article.
3. Article Body- A good article is 300-500 words. If your article is 800 words or longer, then you can break it up into two articles. Also if your article is short on words, then you can include your article summary as a part of your article body.
4. Author's Bio Box- Most article directories will not allow you to leave "self serving" links in your article body, but
they will let you leave at least two links in your bio box.
One should be a hyperlink and the other should be anchor text. Also avoid leaving a long bio. Most people are not interested enough to read it,
However, if you have a free offer targeted to your readers, that will give them more of an incentive to click your link(s) and then go to your website.
5. Keywords- Once you write your article, then you can use the Google Adwords Keyword Tool to research better keywords for your article. Look for keywords with between 1,000 and 50,000 monthly global searches.
Also you should use your primary keyword in your bio box as an anchor text link to your website. Doing this will build valuable back links to your website.
Like most free marketing strategies, you will not get results overnight. Consistency is the key to your success when writing articles. Make a goal to write one article per day until you reach 100 articles.
That should give you time to start generating a decent amount of money from your marketing efforts. This will also give you the wisdom and experience to outsource this tasks more effectively.
Much Success,
