The topic of today’s guidance is Gratitude and the Angels were exuberant and ready to share their loving assistance to us. The first Archangel to come through is Archangel Jophiel. Archangel Jophiel urges us to clear out the clutter & clear out the energy! Now, at first, this can be taken at face value ~ it is time to assess all that we have and part with some, to share it with those who have less or are experiencing hardships in their lives right now. This is a great way to show our gratitude to others ~ giving back. During these holiday seasons, we see many charities and other organizations seeking our help to clothe, feed, and generally help the vulnerable populations in our communities. This is a great opportunity to show the universe that we are grateful for all we have by sharing our time, possessions, or prosperity with others in need. This also helps to affirm that we understand the Divine Law which states that in order to receive; we must first give of ourselves wholly & from our hearts.
The second layer of this message ‘to clear out the clutter’ is much more figurative. We must clear out our minds and hearts of all grudges and ties that are taking up valuable space! Archangel Zadkiel has joined with Jophiel to help us with this process. He urges us to soften our hearts and accept the energy of compassion into our being. When we fully accept this energy into our lives we will be able to practice the art of forgiveness. Forgiveness can be pictured as the moving out of the emotional baggage from our hearts & minds. Forgiveness is not an idea, it is something we do; it is a choice we make to invite love, joy, peace & gratitude back into our lives. This does not mean that we condone the behavior which we felt pain from; it simply means that we will not allow these experiences and feelings to take up permanent residence within us. The Angels are standing by waiting to help you exchange those feelings of pain, hurt, anger and resentment for those feeling you long for in your heart.
Now that we have moved out the baggage, it is time to redecorate! Gratitude is our interior designer of the month. Gratitude is an action which will always yield phenomenal results. As with any makeover, we will work from the ground up ~ starting with our internal thoughts and ending with our behaviors towards others. Archangel Michael is the first one at our door to offer his loving assistance. Archangel Michael wants to help us to hold crystal-clear intentions about our desires. This means that we must first show gratitude for all that we have and experienced in our lives, so that we may create an energy cycle which is a magnet for our heart’s desires. We first start with showing gratitude towards ourselves in the form of positive internal thoughts. Sometimes we must be our own cheerleaders in this game of life; we must replace any negative feelings or thoughts of ourselves with ones of hope, belief & most of all humor! Instead of thinking that we don’t deserve something, or that we are going to fail, we can think that we can accomplish anything with faith in ourselves and a little help from our Angels. Visualize yourself saying all the perfect words and doing great deeds for others, this will create a glow which will, when fed, ignite into a mighty and bright light which will shine for all to see & feel. When we change our internal thoughts to those of gratitude we begin to appreciate ourselves for the work of art in progress we are right now, today! Appreciation is just another form of gratitude. Once we have mastered our internal chatter we will begin to feel different, like we are finally able to see life clearly, unmasked from the blinders that pain built.
Now that we are thinking gratitude and feeling gratitude towards ourselves, we have some to share with those around us. This is the last step in our makeover! We continue to ask our Guardian Angels and Archangel Michael for their blessed assistance, as we move into the final phases of our work. It will now be easier for us to show our appreciation for all things in our lives, because we will now be able to see all that there is to have gratitude for each day. We can look at all people as doing the best they can on any given day. An easy way to show this is by simply saying thank you to others in a specific way i.e., “Thank you for holding the door for me” or “Thank you for cutting me off, I know that you have helped me to arrive at the perfect time or to be more aware & alert!” As you can see, the first is an easy one, but the second really pushes us to practice compassion and forgiveness actively. Gratitude is easy when it is something that we find favorable or pleasurable. The challenge comes when the situation or person appears to be bothersome or frustrating. This is where our Angels can come to our rescue! Infusing us with their energies of love and forgiveness, we can see the silver lining on any cloud that appears in our lives.
