I am a Spiritual Healing Expert. I get lots of practice. Last month I was diagnosed with cancer. After living with the AIDS virus for over twenty years, I knew this would be a piece of cake as long as I remain willing and obedient to follow my inner Divine guidance.
The Lord speaks to me in many ways, through nature, people, books, etc. Often I will hear a Scripture. This was my first clue once I received the cancer label. I was promised a way of escape in First Corinthians 10:13. “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
Temptation? Ah, yes, the temptation to give in to fear and unbelief. No, not me. I am a woman of faith. I stand on the Scripture Romans 8:28 which tells us that “all things work together for the good for those who love God and are the called according to His purpose.” The Lord has been preparing me for this for many years.
Our body renews itself on an ongoing basis. Our skin is replaced every 28 days, our lungs every 70 days. What determines the health of these new baby cells? I recently finished re-reading “The Biology of Belief” by Bruce Lipton. In Chapter Two he tells us, “It’s the Environment, Stupid!”
Having just come across “The Rave Diet and Lifestyle” and the awarding winning documentary movie “Eating” by Mike Anderson, I realized that I could give my cells a brand new healthy environment by eliminating Refined foods, Animal products, Vegetable oils with no Exceptions, thus changing from an acidic to alkaline environment for my cells. Studies have proven that no virus or disease could survive in such an environment.
So as I make cancer unwelcome, guess what else will no longer be at home in my body. AIDS of course! My joy and optimism overflow as I follow my new path to being whole, healthy and fully alive. I began following the RAVE diet as soon as I left the doctor’s office a month ago. Already I have more energy and vitality, and I have lost eight pounds. I am a voracious eater, and I happen to love vegetables. I still visit my favorite buffets, creating new combinations, such as a creamy soup poured over a plate of raw veggies. I plan on blogging to share my progress with you. As I wrote in one of my poems, “The gifts I receive are for all who believe.” May you find your way to being whole, healthy and fully alive.
