The case accused that budeprion XL is not identical to Wellbutrin XL as being claimed. It accuses the drug of causing dangerous side effects, such as seizures, nausea, and insomnia.

The generic drug budeprion XL is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals, Impax Labratories and Anchen Pharmaceuticals. The FDA has received hundreds of complaints against side effects of these drugs. It also made patient nonresponsive to even Wellbutrin XL.
