Winter is over, spring is now here. Are you looking at the progress you made on your goals, or lack thereof? Don't be so hard on yourself. Winter is a great time for relaxing, unwinding, spending time with kids and family. It is also a great time to rejuvenate and refresh. Winter gives you a chance to reflect on what is really important to you while hibernating. But now that spring is here, it is time to look at your goals and see how you have been progressing with them.
Instead of looking back at the goals that you made in January for your time frame for the end of the year, take a look at six months from now and see where you want to be, and re-write your goals for that time frame in mind. As you re-write your goals, visualize what you want to see in six months, and see yourself succeeding, feel yourself succeeding, enjoy the day dream, but don't stop there. Take action, consistent action, small steps will get you farther than waiting to make a big step. Sometimes we are so involved in planning our big action steps, that we never get around to doing anything, we just keep on planning.
It can also be beneficial to write out a brief paragraph as to what your vision is regarding your goals, why it is important to you, how will you feel when you succeed. This helps to cement your goals and helps to attract the outcome that you desire. For example, one of my goals is to share my experiences and knowledge with more people on different platforms, such as Youtube and Livestream. I honestly don't know how to go about doing this, but since I made my desire known both to myself and the Universe, several people have come into my life who are experts in this area and are willing to help me achieve this goal. Just last night I was invited to join a discussion panel on-line whereby the discussion was streamed live and recorded to be played on Youtube. This was a great experience, I learned so much from being a part of it and now I know exactly how the process works.
There is a great momentum of new energy in the spring, take advantage of it, make your move now. If not you, then who? If not now, then when?
