Is Neediness Crippling Your Wealth?

"To get rich! To be a millionaire!" you say, "isn't that obvious?" Is it obvious? Do you really want to get rich, or do you want to...

* impress people
* gain security
* find love

There are a lot of reasons to want to get rich and to be successful, and not all of them involve money and success! There is nothing wrong with wanting approval, security or love, but these desires really have nothing to do with money or financial success. And the surprising thing is, the more you can learn to let go of your need for approval, security and love, the more approval, security and love you will feel, and actually receive! It's ironic, it's a paradox, but it's true!

You see, "feeling needy" simply seems to keep what you need the most just out of your reach. It's funny how that works, but it's true. And it seems to work that way for money too.

The first step I will give you in creating more wealth is simple- separate your need for money from your emotional needs. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having emotional needs, it's natural and completely human, but as they say, money will not buy happiness (or love, or approval or even security).

The second step I will give you is, decide what it is you are going to do to achieve the wealth you desire, and write out an action plan- it does not need to be an elaborate action plan, but just decide on the initial steps you will have to take to achieve your goal, then.... just do it! Learn the skills, gather the equipment, and begin to make the contacts you will need to implement your plan. When you feel you have gathered what you need to get started, think up the next phase; rent a store front, build a website, advertise, etc. Just tackle things a step at a time.

The third essential step to success I will give you is, let go of any feelings of neediness you have attached to creating wealth. That neediness will only tend to keep what you really want just out of reach; that "I need" hungry feeling only seems to feed itself, and that isn't satisfying, is it? Other people can also sense it, and you may find you are attracting "predators", people who sense you have an insecurity or weakness, and will only come around to exploit it. Rather, do all that you can do in a day towards your goals, and learn to go to bed satisfied, knowing you have "fed" your goals, rather than your own insecurities, and possibly "predatory" people.

As you progress with these steps, you may find, that inexplicably, you seem to be attracting the approval, security and love you secretly craved all along, as well as acheiving your finacial goals!
