If you want to achieve success in life whether it be in your relationships, health or finances – you must establish a solid foundation on which to build on – working on your internal world from ‘the inside out’ addresses self-imposed obstacles stopping you from reaching your full potential in the external world. Taking care of the fundamentals – creates a solid foundation on which to build on; withstanding the test and challenges of time.
The reason for this is that we often throw ourselves into all of the ‘doing’ and forget to check ‘within’ – first of all to ensure our mindset is onboard and really is part of ‘the plan’, secondly, what you want is ‘congruent’ with who you are born to be, and thirdly – that out hearts, mind and soul are in ‘alignment’ What do I mean?
Mindset
Your ‘mindset’ comprises of things that help you make sense of the world which include your beliefs, values and attitudes. These are established from your environment, family conditioning, significant events and experiences. Knowing that your mindset is on-board is vital as they drive your behaviors, influencing how you present yourself in the world and therefore your results. For example you can believe you might find someone to love you one day … or that you are so much ‘loved and loving’ that the guy you’re seeing has got to be ‘crazy’ not to marry you! It’s a no-brainer really who the winner is here.
Congruence
The second area is ‘congruence’- the general definition of congruence is: identical in form; in agreement or harmony. If you are living with congruency you are someone who acts according to your dreams, desires, beliefs, values and mission – ‘yours’ not anyone else’s. You make your own unique path based on knowing who you truly are and live in integrity with your ‘self.‘ Congruency also leads to attraction and connection – usually attracting the right people, opportunities and conditions you need to achieve your desires. Without ‘congruency’ people continue their life not being true to themselves or aimlessly chasing one ‘shiny new object, program or expert’ after another. Not knowing what it is you truly want at your core will lead to feeling unfulfilled or even disappointed with your results.
Alignment
Then finally your goals and actions have to be in alignment with your mind, body, heart and soul. The general definition of alignment is: a state of agreement or cooperation among persons, groups, nations, etc., with a common cause or viewpoint. A person in alignment with their goals is more likely to live purposefully and execute plans with clarity and precision. A hint of mis-alignment leads to a change of course with a knowing that this decision is necessary and meets the common objective. Also when you are acting out of ‘your will’ and not in alignment with your mind, body, heart and soul your results are forced, not effortless and delays and frustrations will rise.
It is critical to understand the connection between our inner and external world and why many people armed with all the information and strategies seem to be working harder in their lives and still not getting the results they want or need. For external success you need your internal world to be sorted out.
Our external world is a direct reflection of our inner world, what we think, feel, value and believe determines our actions. If we rush into a relationship from a place of desperation; to feel worthy from having someone else love, need and want us - sooner or later our insecurities and past patterns of negative behavior show up and destroys the very thing we desire. Or worse we attract the people into our lives that will constantly remind us what we already believe about ourselves - that we aren’t worthy and don’t deserve to be loved.

Whatever number comes up for you believe whole-heartedly that this can be 10x better just by trusting you deserve and are worthy of more.
