When I first started my journey to clean up my life and build and strengthen my relationship with myself, I started by investing in resources that would deepen my learning. I bought lots of books about self-healing and personal growth & development. Some books I read more than once to be sure it all sank in. Once I finished those, I began attending adult education classes, seminars and taking personality tests. Then I hired a coach.
Follow me here, this can get confusing: I knew I knew what I knew, I knew I knew what I didn’t know, but I had no clue about all those things that I didn’t know I didn’t know about my SELF. Are you with me?
For example, I knew that I had a lot of cleaning up to do with certain people in my life.I knew I didn’t know how I was going to do that. But what I didn’t know was that there were ways for me to do that would leave me feeling empowered, generous and loving. Are you still with me?
What I am saying is this: whatever it is you are struggling with THERE IS A SOLUTION! You may feel so separate from understanding what that solution could be, but I am telling you there is one. That solution lays dormant inside of you right now.
It’s called the Law of Polarity. There can’t be an up without a down, an in without and out, a problem without a solution.
So how do you find your solution? Invest in your SELF. So many people spend so much time, energy and money trying to figure out where to put their money so they get a good return on investment. This stock, that mutual fund, 401K or IRA?
I’ll tell you where to put it. And I won’t charge you a dime for this great investment advice. Spend it on YOU! What more invaluable resource do you have then your beautiful mind, body and Spirit?
Think about it, how often do you turn outside your SELF when you feel down? What is it for you, food, shopping, bad relationships, alcohol & drugs? How do you numb the pain? And how long does that actually last? A day, an hour, a minute?
If you’re going to spend time, energy & money on something to feel better, why not make the investment on something you have control over, something that you can be sure will pay back a big ROI? Why not invest in your SELF?
