At some point in our lives we have all said to ourselves or someone else, “Why do I keep attracting the same type of people into my life”, or “Why am I always having the same experiences over and over again”.
We all go through this. We all reach a point in our lives when we realize and understand what we’re doing is not working for us anymore. But what can we do about it?
As I’ve mentioned many times before, our belief system is the driving force behind our actions and experiences in our lives. These beliefs that we adopted when we were young children have become so ingrained in us that we have a hard time even recognizing them let alone questioning them.
And if our beliefs are what is causing us to behave in a certain way, then doesn’t it make sense that unless we change these beliefs, then nothing in our life will change either?
If we continue to speak or act in the same way time after time, we will continue to have the same experiences over and over again. If our self-worth is low we will attract people and experiences that will confirm this belief. If we are angry all the time, there is no doubt we will constantly meet up with angry people from day to day.
If we act the same way day after day, we will get the same results each time. If we don’t change the way we behave, think and believe, nothing will ever change for us. It will be very easy to predict our own future just by how things were in the past.
So if you want things in your life to change, if you want to stop attracting situations and people that you don’t like, take a look at what you are feeling, thinking and the beliefs that may be creating these feelings and thoughts. This is the key to changing what you attract into your life.
Try something different; let each action or word come from the highest intention for good. Allow your open heart to create your experiences for you. From this place you will always find peace, love and joy.
