(Having More of What you want in your Life)
The Law of Manifestation is neutral and always working. Your life at this time is a reflection of all your past thoughts, beliefs, feelings, behaviors and attitudes. Recognizing that your life is greatly influenced by past experiences is the key to understanding the Law of Manifestation.
On a conscious level you may have desires that are in conflict with your unconscious beliefs. When such happens manifestation becomes at best a mixed bag. Just as the iceberg is ten percent visible, and ninety percent under water, so it is with the conscious and unconscious mind. Most of us go through life about ten percent in charge of what we are doing. The vast unknown, our unconscious is a rich underworld of shadows, beliefs, fears, anger; the sum total of every thing that has happened to us since birth, the whole catastrophe.
The dichotomy between what you consciously want and unconsciously deserve has to be bridged in order to influence the desired path of manifestation.
What do you expect your life to be like when you receive what you want?
Will abundance in your life have consequences? (There are always consequences).
Are there secondary gains in keeping things the way they are?
If you suspect that you maybe unworthy, inadequate, or flawed can you expect the outcome to make you a more loveable, confident and secure person?
People seeking professional help are often experiencing low self-esteem, and don’t even know it! Common symptoms may include shame, grief, fear, anger, depression as well as other painful emotions. Successful manifestation is impeded if such symptoms go unresolved. Sometimes professional help is needed to resolve such issues. Without healing, it will be more of the same.
There is an old saying, “be careful what you wish for...” The success and abundance you reap externally cannot heal internal wounds. Remember the lives of Janis Joplin, Marilyn Monroe, and John Belushi. Having tremendous external abundance did not bring them peace, or a sense of worthiness and security. They experienced the adoration of their fans became icons of the culture, however such popularity did not bring them happiness. With all their resources, they were not able to mend the chasm between their stardom and some limiting beliefs. As a result they self sabotaged and tragically died.
Clarity is important. So what do you really want? You may want to manifest happiness. This is too vague, too general. By asking some simple questions you can become more focused on what is desired:
What does happiness look like?
How do you sound, when you are happy?
How does happiness feel?
When have you felt this way before (a moment of happiness from long ago)?
Remember a moment of happiness, bring it into your heart and hold on to that feeling of happiness. This enables you to envision success. Feel it as deeply as possible, in other words, allow your body to have a visceral experience. Intense feelings make a desired outcome attainable. To manifest what you want into your reality, visualize the desired result as if it has already happened.
We are always attracting what we want and do not want. It is our lack of discipline in clarity, purposefulness and focus that prevents our desires from manifesting predictably. Intention is another strong limb of manifestation.
An example of clarity and intention is our experience in high school. There was intent, even if never verbalized, to do the work necessary to graduate. There was a clear end in sight. Most of us do not go to high school to see if it will work out. It’s not in the fog of maybe, I’ll see, or I’ll have to wait until... Wait until when? No, it is taking planned course work, whereby one thing builds on another until it is completed. We got what we wanted and intended to have. It was not fast but neither did we put our heads in the sand with only positive thoughts, we worked.
Anyone who is not experiencing abundant manifestation can have more of what they want, much more. Do not buy into the idea that results have to be fast. As in the high school example, it takes twelve years of building a foundation for manifestation (graduation) to occur.
Stop, reflect, and get to know yourself at yet a deeper level. See what resistance you have with getting what you say you want. If you need professional help to root it out, get it. Quite often there is an underpinning of fear to be processed. Our loved ones may not support us in change, it may make them anxious and insecure, and so they have an investment in keeping us the same. Our need to please may keep us from being true to ourselves.
One thing is certain, we cannot manifest beyond our present level of consciousness. We will manifest a full, abundant, and purposeful life to the degree we feel worthy. We are the sum total of our experiences. We may see life as expansive and abundant or depriving and limiting; however, most of us are somewhere in between. Wherever we are on that spectrum, it is that lens through which we allow manifestation to occur.
