HEALING POWER OF SALT: Before we begin let's talk about the miraculous healing power of salt!

Salt has a long history of importance in the evolution of mankind on planet earth. Salt has been prized for its healing properties since ancient times. During the middle ages salt was at the heart of the spice trade industry, highly profitable as a commodity and prized as much as gold.

In April of 1930 Mahatma Ghandhi led the famous Salt March that was an important part of the Indian independence movement. The Salt March was a ‘direct action campaign of tax resistance and nonviolent protest against the British salt monopoly in colonial India, and triggered the wider Civil Disobedience Movement.’ (Quote from Wikipedia.org)

Of course we know the result of Ghandhi’s years of peaceful protest led to the partition of India as an independent nation in 1947.

So, when you’re making your ‘Sea Salt Glow’ made with pure essential oil (also prized since antiquity for its healing power) think of all those people before you who treasured salt and pure plant aromatics as you enjoy your refreshing home spa experience.

Preparation – what you will need:

Use organic ingredients if available.

Small bowl

1-4 teaspoon favorite carrier oil (light coconut oil, jojoba, rose hip)

1 cup sea salt (detoxifier)

1-3 drops pure essential oil

Sterilized instrument such as a stainless steel teaspoon

Blend together your sea salts and carrier oil until thoroughly mixed

Add 1-3 drops of your chosen pure essential oil or blend to your mixture and blend thoroughly

Add more carrier oil if desired to your ‘Sea Salt Glow’ blend if you prefer a loose, wet action for your ‘Sea Salt Glow.’

Directions for Use:

Stand over a large bath towel as you begin to apply your ‘Sea Salt Glow’ and rub your skin gently, using upward sweeping strokes, start at your toes and work upwards to your abdomen.

Then begin to stroke upwards from your finger tips to your shoulders.

After finishing your extremities begin rubbing ‘Sea Salt Glow’ onto the front side of your torso and then your backside. Use gentle circular movements.

Finish:

You can rinse off your “Sea Salt Glow’ in a warm and soothing shower, or take a steaming hot bath afterwards.

The ‘Sea Salt Glow’ will leave your skin feeling soft, supple and silky smooth with a youthful appearance.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not apply your 'Sea Salt Glow' to any areas of your skin that are broken or damaged as this may cause skin sensitization.
