Being happy is not only a personal attribute that affects your well being; it also greatly affects others around you. Your thoughts and feelings – both good ones and not so good ones – are contagious. So what exactly are you sharing? What are you broadcasting on your radio channel? Is it love? Is it peace?
Others pick up on your mood and behaviors whether you want them to or not. Instead of a whole host of other emotions, why not share happiness? There is no cost – after all, happiness is free. It is also abundant; it is in infinite supply.
You affect the key people in your life – in the same manner that they affect you. How might your life improve the lives of others? How would it feel to know that when people walk away from you, they are better off than they were before?
Your happiness can cascade to others; quickly and simply. Isn’t that what you prefer to share with those you care about?

1. Identify an opportunity this week whether it is a meeting, a phone call, or an encounter
2. In advance, plan a way to share happiness where you normally would not. It can be a small thing to start out.
3. Implement your plan now and note any reactions in others. Note the reactions in yourself.
