The students eligible are those, who got rejected from the universities they chose, who missed the UCAS deadline, or who have declined the places that universities offered.rnClearing can often seem like a bit of a scramble. It’s important not to rush in. Follow these ten simple rules for the Undergraduate Clearing 2011 that will help you to make the right choices and find your clearing places.rn1. First of all, be honest about your chances of securing your first choice. If you think you might end up in Clearing, do some research via university websites before results day.rn2. Don't forget the university needs to have offered you a provisional place. Don't just enter the number of a course you like. You must contact them first.rn9. Wait for confirmation. Then it’s time to relax and celebrate.rnWhen does Clearing start? Clearing starts in August, when the A-level results are announced, and goes on until the end of September.
