Privacy Requests
Use this page to ask about personal information associated with an account, professional profile, contribution, communication, or other SelfGrowth record.
Requests you can make
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to access, know, correct, delete, export, restrict, object to, opt out, limit certain uses, or appeal a privacy decision. You may also ask a general privacy question.
These are separate actions. Tell us whether you want to address one named public page or Content item, your public expert profile, all SelfGrowth Content attributed to you, account access or closure, or verified deletion of your personal data. Closing account access does not automatically remove a published profile or Content.
Profile attribution, copyright, editorial removal, account changes, and privacy can involve different rights. Describe each action you want and include any relevant SelfGrowth URL so we can route the matter correctly. Read the Privacy Policy for more information.
After SelfGrowth removes a page, search engines, caches, and other third parties may temporarily retain copies. We cannot promise immediate removal from services that they control.
No longer use the email on your old SelfGrowth account or profile?
You can request a manual review without access to that old mailbox. Choose “Request legacy-account review when I no longer use the old email” below, and include the legacy email and exact SelfGrowth profile or page URL if you know them. State the outcome you want because restored access, public profile or Content removal, account closure, and verified personal-data deletion are separate actions.
A current verified email, matching name, phone number, profile details, or public byline does not by itself prove ownership or authorize SelfGrowth to transfer access or change an account, profile, or Content. We will reply with a case-specific, proportionate verification step. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, or identity documents by email.
Send a request
Complete the fields below to prepare an email to SelfGrowth. Your reply address may help us find prior communication, but it does not by itself prove account or profile ownership.
To close access to your account, choose “Ask another privacy question.” Say whether you also want your public expert profile, one or more named published items, or all SelfGrowth Content attributed to you removed. Account closure alone does not remove those public materials.
Verification and authorized agents
We may need to confirm the email address, account access, profile relationship, or other information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority. We will request only what is proportionate to the request and risk.
If you act for someone else, identify the person and explain your authority. We may ask for signed authorization or direct confirmation from that person where applicable.
Response and appeals
We will acknowledge and respond within the period required by applicable law. Complex, duplicate, unverifiable, abusive, or legally exempt requests may require clarification, additional time, a fee where law permits, or a partial or complete denial. If an applicable law provides an appeal right, reply to the decision and state that you are appealing it.
We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights. Some information may be exempt or retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, disputes, public-interest publication, attribution, contractual rights, or other lawful purposes.
Sensitive and urgent information
Do not include passwords, payment information, government identifiers, medical records, emergency information, or other unnecessary sensitive information. This channel is not monitored for emergencies or immediate safety threats.
