Orange oil is a wonderful healing agent which is important for relaxing, healing jangled nerves, soothing for the GI tract, helps with depression, healing for arthritis, and it has household uses too. And orange oil is inexpensive and can be found all over the world.

Great for the GI Tract - Dilute orange oil is soothing to the GI tract, and helps to get rid of gas. Orange oil relaxes the stomach, small and large intestines, and the rectum. Thus allowing gas to move through the system and be relieved.

Depression and Anxiety - Orange oil also used as a aromatherapy agent or a small amount of the oil can be diluted in water and taken internally, which lift a persons mood and even help with anxiety.

Immune System Booster - Orange oil is also a good immune system boosting agent that prevent colds, flues, and other viral and bacterial infections.

Powerful Antioxidant - Orange oil contains lots of powerful antioxidants such as myrcene and limonene which neutralize free radicals thus slow the aging process and preventing and repairing DNA damage… thus helping to prevent disease.

Great Diuretic - Orange oil is a good diuretic which helps to detox the body. Orange oil can also flush out uric acid and bile acids thus helping to cleans the liver and the body in general.

Antibacterial, Anti-fungal, and Antimicrobial - If a person cuts their finger dabbing on a little orange oil will keep it from getting infected. Orange oil also kills E Coli and Salmonella bacteria thus helping to prevent infections. Two studies in journals in 2008 and 2009 showed that orange oil is a great antibacterial agent.

Helps with Cancer - Orange oil also has shown the ability to prevent the growth tumors in laboratory studies. Orange oil contains limonene which is a powerful anticancer agent.

Great Anti-inflammatory Agent - Orange oil is a good anti-inflammatory agent for internal and external use. Diluting 2 or 3 drops of orange oil in a glass of water and drinking it works wonders for inflammation. And using dilute orange oil as massage oil for inflamed joints also works well. Thus orange oil works wonders for arthritis, joint pain, redness, swelling, and other inflammatory processes.

Antispasmotic Agent - If a person is coughing taking a couple drops of orange oil in water or juice can calm that nagging cough. Plus very dilute orange oil can soothe spasms of the GI tract and diarrhea, and orange oil helps muscular spasms and nervous disorders.

PMS - And orange oil is works wonders for all the symptoms of PMS.

Lowers Blood Pressure - Orange oil also has the ability to lower blood pressure.

Sedating Agent - Orange oil is a good sedating agent which works great for anger, anxiety, depression and other emotional upsets. Just taking a glass of water and adding couple drops of orange oil will sooth away jangled nerves. Plus orange oil is much safer than taking narcotics and tranquilizers which are habit forming.

Great for Headaches - Orange oil can be used as a aromatherapy agent or by taking 1 or 2 drops of orange oil in a glass of water for getting rid of headaches.

Good for the Skin - Adding a little orange oil to liquid soaps helps to remove excess oils heal acne. And orange oil also helps the skin to create more collagen thus improving skin elasticity. Orange oil soothes away wrinkles and prevent premature aging of the skin, and dilute orange oil also soothes away other skin irritations and rashes.

Natural Insecticide - Orange oil is also a good natural insecticide that kills flies and their larva. Spraying orange oil around garbage cans, inside kitchen trash cans, and other areas keep flies from breeding.

Kitchen Cleaning Agent - Dilute orange oil makes a great kitchen cleaning agent and it smells super. Plus dilute orange oil is a powerful degreaser making it perfect for cleaning grills, the stove, and other greasy areas.

Cooking - Orange oil can also be used in baking cakes, cookies, making candy, jellies, and it can also be used in the cooking of meats, fish, poultry, and for making beverages.

Used in - Orange oil is also used in commercial deodorants, lotions, shampoos, room fresheners, and even skin creams.

Side Effects - Orange oil is pretty safe but it’s best to use dilute orange oil most of the time. Take the concentrated form and dilute it with some carrier oil such as sesame oil. The concentrated form taken internally can cause GI upsets, nausea, diarrhea, and other problems. And orange oil should not be used by women who are pregnant, nursing, or small children. And if using orange oil on the skin it’s best to stay away from bright sun, it can cause phototoxicity but that’s very rare.
