Blog marketing has become a very effective way to develop a money making business due to the ability to interact with visitors! It also doesn't hurt that it takes little time or technical skills to start blogging yet many people still find it difficult to make money! With the ease of set-up and the popularity of this strategy why is it so many struggle to make money blogging? Here are 3 very common 'oversights' people tend to make when trying to earn an income from their blog! Not Enough Content If you don't have much content to offer there's little reason for people to be crowding around. This is typical of the overly anxious entrepreneur. Your ambition is to be admired however your patience still needs some work! It is important to have some 'history' in terms of posts that visitors can see. This lends more legitimacy to your platform and also sends a signal to visitors that there's more to come! It is recommended before you start blogging to already have 10 to 20 posts ready to be posted so you can quickly build up the 'inventory' of content! Now people will have something to view! Your Hand Is Always Out You're too busy trying to sell something and forgetting to be of service to your readers. As a rule you must give more than you expect to receive and if not don't expect great results! You can make money blogging but understand people have shown up at your site to view your content and not to be sold. What you need to do is first gain their loyalty, which is done by consistently offering good material in your updates. Once their loyalty is earned then you can start marketing products to them but remember to always continue posting to your site with material of interest to the people who visit! Unrelated Products The products you offer don't fit the theme of your site or perhaps the content within which the offers are made. Product and service offers you make must always maintain a relevancy to what you blog about while also being a good fit for any content you may place product links within! To do otherwise will only serve to confuse viewers making your promotional efforts ineffective! If you expect to build a money making business why would you offer any products unrelated to the business you're in? Well the same goes for blogs and the content within which offers are presented! Blog marketing is a terrific way to build a money making business on the internet yet many experience difficulty earning an income! A large part of the problem is that when people start blogging in their eagerness to earn an income they sometimes overlook some important aspects such as the 3 discussed above! It is important to always remember in order to make money blogging you must first cater to the needs of your visitors by offering them useful or otherwise interesting content. This is a critical point that every blogger needs to address and should always remain your first priority! When you do make offers simply be sure there are relevant to both the site and the content within which they are found! In doing so you will then find it much easier to make money blogging provided you do not lose sight of your readers needs!
