There are many foods you can eat to keep your thyroid levels in check. There are many nutrients that are essential to your body and needs to be consumed. Some of them are zinc, iodine, selenium, and vitamin B, C, D and E. Many natural foods are rich in these nutrients, and all you need to do is be aware of them. Some of the common foods are:

Too much sugar consumption will make the thyroixine unable to produce T3 or T4 hormones, thus making it worse for your hypothyroidism. Stay away from candies, chocolates and go for a sugar-free diet completely. You should also consume a lot of leafy green vegetables which are loaded with minerals and other nutrients. 3.Exercise Regularly
An underactive thyroid means you tend to put on more weight. So, it’s important to stay active and fit. In a lot of hypothyroidism cases, fatigue and mood changes are common symptoms. You should add exercise to your routine and experience a change in your body and mind. You can pick from a low-intensity workout to a high-intensity one. Join a gym, lift some light weights first and then increase them as per your comfort. You could also start with walking and light jogging if you don’t have a knee problem. Other fun exercises include aerobics, swimming and Zumba. If you are not a workout kind of person, you could also indulge in your favorite sports like Tennis, Basketball and football. Doing a regular workout will not only make you fit and active but also boost your metabolism and help to calm your mind. There are also many yoga poses that help control thyroid. Studies show that people with hypothyroidism are known to have a disturbed small intestine. Consuming probiotics produce good bacteria that helps in better digestion. Also, probiotic supplements are known to keep the intestine healthy and well-functioning. Other foods include fermented foods and drinks, yoghurt, kefir, kombucha and some cheeses. These probiotics come with healthy bacteria that could reverse the small intestine problems, thus keeping you healthy.
