5 Money Saving Ideas For Certificate Framing At The Office
Written by Bennett Clinton
When it comes to giving awards for whatever reason, whether it's for an accomplishment or for recognition of a particular service or event, award certificates are a great, inexpensive option for all occasions. Being able to buy blank certificates and print them in-house means you can produce awards for unique situations very quickly and with a minimum of expense. However, for a little more money you can put it in a frame and really add to the impressiveness of the award.
Here are some framing ideas that aren't expensive and are easy to do:
1. Cardboard matting is a way to add to the award with a minimum of expense. These are available from stationery stores and frame shops.
2. Buy standard certificate award frames from a department store. These are the basic picture type frames with the glass front.
3. Plexiglas certificate stands are available that you simply slide the certificate in. These can either hang on the wall or stand on a shelf.
4. Award company suppliers have plaque boards that are inexpensive in bulk. One way to affix the certificate is to place it on the plaque board and put a piece of clear contact paper over it to seal it in.
5. There are certificate plaques that have a Plexiglas cover that screws into the corners. While this takes a little work and is a bit more expensive, this makes for a very classy award.
While there are other framing options available, these are the most cost effective. Buying frames in bulk from suppliers means you're cutting out the middle man, like award companies and framing shops and will save lots of money on each award. The least expensive frame above may add a dollar to the cost of the award and even the most expensive option in the above list can still be purchased and put together for under $10.
Putting the award certificate in a frame will add a little to the expense of it, but the impact it has for the person receiving it is well worth it. When the award is framed the odds of it being displayed on a shelf or a wall is almost a certainty which not only reminds the recipient of why they got the award but displays for others their accomplishment. Not only does the great award encourages the recipient to strive for another award, but encourages others to work for them as well. You'll be amazed how great the certificate looks in a frame and the recipient will appreciate the award even more.
