Also known as a Brazilian Mastiff, this aggressive and unforgiving dog breed was developed in Brazil as a cattle dog and guard dog but this breed also does well as a hunting dog. Fila Brasileiro is either a product of old Bulldog, Bloodhound, and English Mastiff or a cross between Spanish and Portuguese dogs.

5: Canary Mastiff

Canary Mastiff or Canary Catch Dog another large-sized dog breed from the Canary Islands that was bred for working livestock. It has a thick muscular body with lots of energy. This aggressive breed needs lots of training and early socialization or they may be very dangerous. At least 2 cases reported in 2001 and 2017 when the Canary Mastiffs killed a human in their attacks. Because of their aggressiveness, they have also been used as a fighting dog.
