For many marketers are webinars a good way to reach the target is bring them to a webinar, or online seminar your knowledge by offering a lecture, workshop or presentation over the Internet. A webinar is a suitable medium to generate leads, but this is not easy. For holding a successful webinar you think of many things. In this article, I share six tips to ensure that your webinar is a success. 1. Communicate before the webinar audience is very important to interest your target audience before the webinar actually occurs. For example, create a unique Twitter hashtag (#) for the webinar and share with your audience. This creates a community of people who "talk" about the same subject. During the webinar, use the hashtag to interact with the audience: questions you can answer Twitter and collect questions for Q & A (Questions & Answers) section. After the webinar, you can use the hashtag again for example by treating unanswered questions and send additional information. It is also good to announce your webinar already in a blog post. Try to spread the word through many channels as possible. Let all participants know that they already can pass any questions. It is handy to know in advance questions so you can treat it in the webinar. 2. Provide an 'attractive' presentation by an 'attractive' designed presentation you make sure your participants remain constantly interested and curious. It is important that you give them something fun to watch. Create a presentation with many pictures and screenshots relate to the topic. So do not just half an hour in a simple presentation with just text each other. Use colors to give a fresh look to the presentation, but choose a certain color palette and let it come back through entire presentation. HubSpot provides a good example of two different presentation slides. On the left you see a basic, say boring black and white slide and a colorful visual slide on the right: The choice is not difficult :-). 3. Provide interesting speakers Nothing is more damaging to a webinar than a monotone speaker who loads the participants and lulls to sleep. Provide confident, energetic speakers that create interaction with the participants. 4. Arrange a host or moderator a host or moderator assists to lead the webinar in the right direction. Such a person introduces the speakers, the participants welcome, enables any questions that come by during the webinar and close the webinar neatly. In short, a host or moderator makes the webinar without problems. 5. Strengthen your webinar with different types of media by adding different types of media to your webinar, you can strengthen your presentation and make more interactive. Think of:
  • Adding a short video or animation.
  • The temporary sharing of your computer screen.
  • Sharing an interesting download such a checklist.
6. Check, check, double-check through all things carefully before the webinar starts. Look where possible (technical) problems may arise and try to avoid them by running a time trial. Furthermore, choose a quiet place for the webinar. Do not go next to your colleagues are the sales team who calls most of the day. Good luck with organizing your webinar !
