Success is very easy if you know the secrets and principles. The steps below will help you.

1. Define success

If you don't know what success is, how can you know when you have achieved it. Success means different things for different people. In other to create success, you must first and foremost define it and a lot of people can't or haven't. Be very clear about what you want and don't want in life. Clarity makes life easier. Success is bringing your desire to a happy issue. This definition can help you to know whether you are in line or off course to the alignment of your goal.

2. Go beyond yourself

Some people will settle for a life of second best, of compromise, mediocrity and of under-achievement simply because they are (1) controlled by fear (2) always looking for the cheap way (3) not prepared to pay the price and (4) Laziness. People who always take the easy road many a times end in mediocrity. Avoiding discomfort can rob you of the thrills and experiences of personal growth. Whatever you go through in life teaches you lessons and these teachings can't be taught in any university. To succeed in life, you must go beyond yourself. Stretch yourself and potentials until they cry for mercy. Human's are like rubber band they work best when stretched. Unlimit yourself to be a success.

3. Start with what you have

Imagine what you could have achieved if you maximized all the knowledge, time, skills, talents, potentials, and opportunities that you have. No successful person started from the top. The only thing that is being started from the top is a grave. Who told you that you don't have what it takes to bring your aim to a happy issue? Give a miss to fear. To become a person crowned with success, you must do away with chicken-heartedness. You must be a person marked by the quality of accomplishing things in this day and age. Many people fail, not because they don't have what it takes, but because they don't use what they already have. Successful people do not have more innate abilities, luck, time, connection or opportunities than you, but they consistently find a way to use what they have at their disposal. The question is not "how much ability do you have, but how much will you use." Every great thing started small. Never despise little beginnings.

4. Be original

Never let fear stand in the way of your ability to create, innovate and lead. Take action of your dream. Learn from those who have gone before you, what caused their failure and success? This will make things easier and better for you. You have something to offer the world. The problem with most people today is that they have lost their originality and they are just living a fake life. Define your lifestyle and brand yourself and business. Imitation is limitation. Having a mentor will fast track your success. You were born an original; not a copy.

5. Do what they successful people do

You can't be an eagle and behave like a chicken. You are uniquely created and fashioned for a purpose. Successful people do things failures will never dare to do. Give your best to your work for time for enjoyment will come. Surround yourself with like-minded people. Stand out and be a benchmark of excellence. The successful men and women pay now to play later.

6. Be Flexible

Being static in a dynamic world can bring great disaster. We live in an ever-changing cosmos; for you to excel in it, you must be up and doing. Develop yourself; upgrade your knowledge and skills through reading books, attending seminars, etc. Investing in your personal development is one of the best investments. Knowledge gets outdated so upgrade your knowledge to the time and trend. Synergize and mastermind with others.

7. Be Humble

True success makes you humble. A sage is not boastful rather uses his learning to enrich lives positively. Use your sagacity to build people up. Whatever you passed through was necessary for your maturity in life. Humility attracts tremendous favor to you. A humble man is a noble man.
